American Society Rely for life

I just received this email from Martha's son and his wife regarding an American Cancer Relay for life. Proceeds will help with research, education and patient/family support. Dear Family & Friends-

Holly and I have never really done a charity thing where we have asked friends/family for money so this is kind of tough.

Most of you are aware that my step father, Bog, was recently diagnosed with stage-4 pancreatic cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Holly and I have felt pretty helpless 1000 miles away and we have finally found a way we can help. We are walking in The American Cancer Society's Relay For Life to raise money to fight cancer this Saturday, July 26th.

We are sending this out to lots of folks so you don't really need to contribute much to help us make our goal of raising $500. If you give just $5.00 that would be fantastic, of course the more the better. Also, if you feel comfortable forwarding this on to 1 or 2 good friends that like to give to a good cause, that would be equally fantastic! You may also want to ask your employer (if you are in fact employed) if they would match your donation.
