Yesterday was a full day. On Monday we went to Orange County and met Mike and Francesca Kelly, the Lee's and Bob and Pat Ferns for dinner at the Sun Dried Tomato in Laguna (the old Jack Shrimp), then went to see Late Night Catechism at the Playhouse and finished up at M&F's house for desert. We got a room at the Holiday Inn Express in Dana Point. On Tuesday morning Martha had a appointment with her orthopedic surgeon re her hip replacement, which is now scheduled for 11/3. We drove home, I dropped her off and then met Jack Tischhauser to go to the San Diego Detention Center. After driving home thru the San Diego rush hour I went to the Temecula Valley Master Chorale audition were I stayed for a couple of hours helping out Amanda. Got to bed around 10pm.

My birthday today, 57 years old. Got up at 4:30 and read morning prayer. Jogged 6 miles in 66:30. The first time I had jogged 6 miles non-stop since I ran the marathon on June 1. My left hip and upper thigh hurt, don't know what is going on there.

Jen called to wish me a Happy Birthday. Went to Lake Elsinore to get Janet signed up for health benefits. Martha got me a new combination coffee grinder/maker. Very nice.
