At our auction Barbecue with the Basses brought in $800. Saturday night at the home of the Moe's we did our thing. The spouses were invited and Martha attended. Near the end of the festivities, Martha was dancing with Earl Fields when her hip popped out of joint. She was in extreme pain when we called 911. They arrived, gave her some morphine and finally got her off the floor onto a gurney. Took her to Valley Community Med. Ctr. Busy night but she finally got XRayed. The duty doc tried to get it back in place (she was under a waking sedation) but was unsuccessful. Called in a ortho doc and an anesthesiologist, took her to the OR and got in back in place. Got home at 5:30am.
M. slept most of the day, I slept a couple of hours.
