Up until recently this Blog has represented a diary of the life and times of Bog (Martha's family's nickname for me), aka Robert R. Dudley, Sr. or better known as Bob. However, now it has become a journal of my physical and spiritual journey with Pancreatic Cancer which was diagnosed on March 18, 2008.

God always speaks in silence but sometimes the silence is louder then at other times…
Bob, I am still on my journey out of the wilderness in becoming a follower of Jesus Christ... But I will try to include you in my prayers and thoughts. Be well Bob, Denny Wallace, Rockford, IL
Bob:
You're in our thoughts and prayers. Hope you have some gorgeous nurses to lighten the stay.
best wishes,
Melissa :)
Hi Bob,
Laura Alger has been keeping us informed about your illness and the progress you are making...those of us who are former members of TVMC. We are all sorry that you have to be going through this, but we also know how strong you are. Personally, whenever your name is mentioned in conversation, I always go back to the time I auditioned for the group and how welcome and valued you made me feel. Your blog is wonderful, and I am sure writing it helps. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Fondly, Connie Venti
Bob - Just found out about your fight when we returned home this AM and read Rich's email. We will certainly expand the prayer chain from here, through my Discipleship group, and my sister, who is trying to become a 'prayer minister' up in Greensboro right now. I know that your attitude is right by reading your "bloggings". I also know that runners can deal with stuff like this (including the pain) better than mere mortals. So hang in and continue to challenge this thing. There is a plan, we do not know what it is, but we need to accept it for what it is. There will be blessings that come, some you will recognize, others you will never see or understand...
Stay in His grip,
Don (and Jan)
PS to Martha - We will be praying for you as well. Caregivers are heroes!!!
Dear Bob,
As I read your news about being in the hospital I KNEW God was, is, and will be with you. It is a promise He has made. Keep blogging and keep your spirit strong. Blessings and love, Sue and Chris
