Chemo postponed

My 2nd chemo treatment scheduled for this morning was postponed. It appears the lab people did not completely read the lab order and did not draw the blood necessary to analyze my blood count. They will not do chemo if they don't know those numbers. So I went back to the lab, had the blood drawn and will be doing chemo tomorrow, (Wednesday) morning at 9.

However, we did get the results of tests done for Liver enzymes. The numbers were dramatically lower (which is a good thing). Not sure what that is attributed to but will ask the physician's assistant tomorrow. My guess is PRAYER.

On another note, at our mid week Eucharist at church tomorrow night I will be professing my vows as an Oblate with the Order of Julian of Norwich, which is a monastic order of contemplative monks and nuns of the Episcopal Church. For more detailed information regarding Oblates, click here for the Oblate Manual in an Adobe format.
