It has been a loooong week. I have not been able to eat much more than clear liquids. But other than that I am feeling pretty good considering. Taking my Vicoden every 3 hours helps with the pain. Nothing but water after 9am tomorrow in anticipation of my procedure which should start around 5pm. Hopefully, if that goes well and they can get a permanent stent placed in the bile duct, I can go back to eating and all the yellow will drain from my skin.
Jen drove down Saturday night and I insisted Martha go out to our previously scheduled dinner group meeting. She enjoyed getting out and being with our friends. One of our group, Sharon Eilers took off her breast cancer charm bracelet and gave it to Martha for me to keep while I am going through this. What a loving gesture!
Rusty and Toy came down today and spent several hours with us. It was great to have the family together.

Martha told Judy last week was going on with you. Our prayers have been with you since then. My prayer has been freer and recovery. A prayer also has been it you might find peace in this hour of need.
