First Chemo treatment this morning.

I had my first chemo this morning at 10:30am. The first part was an anti-nausea medication followed by the chemo, Gemzar. I was out of there by 12 noon. No problems during the treatment and I am expecting NO side-effects.

I go once a week for 3 weeks and then get a week off. Blood tests are assessed before each treatment to see how it is affecting the cancer and also how it is affecting my white blood count which is responsible for my immunity system.

The nurse did say my liver enzymes were down (which is a good thing) from a blood test done a week or so ago. No explanation given, but I attribute it to all the prayers and good wishes from family and friends. So thank you one and all.
