These last 3 days are the best I have felt in over 3 weeks. My strength is coming back and the pain seems to be managing well as long as I am consistent in taking my meds. And my weight is still at 175, so I didn't lose any more while I was at the hospital.
My first chemotherapy treatment is this Tuesday at 10:30am. I understand I will be there about 2 hours. This is a weekly treatment and will be done on the same day/time each week. I am anxious to get it started but also somewhat anxious about what side effects, if any, I will get. Hair loss is not a big issue, since there is not much up there. But I would hate to lose my mustache and goatee; it took months to grow the first time.
My son and his wife Toy are coming down today and my daughter Jen is coming down to celebrate her birthday which was last Monday. Martha's sister, Madelon and her husband Roger will probably arrive from Florida today.
