Don't get me wrong, I am extremely grateful for my continuing to feel better and stronger since I got out of the hospital. But I can't help but wonder why this is happening now after weeks of feeling run-down and sick. I guess Chemo could have something to do with it. But I suspect it is primarily a result of the good wishes, love and prayer that I have received from strangers, friends and family. My challenge now is to make the most of these good times.
I went back to my own bed last night for the first time since I returned from the hospital last month. I have a single bed set up in my first floor office. We didn't want to move upstairs until I could negotiate the stairs by myself. And up to a few days ago I was having trouble sleeping through the night, so I didn't want to be upstairs interrupting Martha's sleep.

Bob...I'm sure the good news is prayer-related. Pat and I are so happy to be part of that cheer-leading section. May God's blessings continue to shower on you.

You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers. Glad you can enjoy some beautiful weather- it's been great on the east coast too. Sending prayers for continued peace and joy your way.
