The CT guided needle biopsy was performed yesterday. Fr. Robert came to the house at 6:45am to go to Riverside with me and Martha. We really appreciated his presence.
We got there somewhat early and they took me in about 15 minutes early. The attending staff and doctor were very organized and detailed in telling me what to expect. The procedure took about 45 minutes. I was awake but it was not painful. She got a total of 4 samples which she felt the lab could use in their analysis. They had me stay an extra hour to make sure there was not internal bleeding. Lab results could take up to 7-10 working days.
After that we all went to the Mission Inn for lunch and afterwards explored the place. Got home around 2pm. Supposed to take it real easy for the next couple of days. That won't be hard to do since I have not been doing anything anyway!
