The ERCP scrapings were inconclusive. So the next step is an CT guided needle biopsy of the liver which will be done as an outpatient. They will not be able to do a biopsy of the pancreas there, that would have to be done at a hospital. So first steps first.
There are two large spots on my liver behind my lungs, so they cannot do the biopsy there. However there are two smaller spots that are accessible. The trick is to get good samples that can be diagnosed. They can tell if (1) it is begnin, (2) it is cancer of the liver or (3) it is cancer that has metastisized from somewhere else, e.g. pancreas.
