My problem is that I have a blood infection from bacteria normally found in the digestive system. My lowered immunity system allowed it to get into the bloodstream.
My oncologist visited this a.m. No chemo can get started before that infection is gone and they found out why bilirubin levels remain high. So I have yet another ERCP scheduled this afternoon at 5pm.
More to follow later.

Hi Mister D! Mom gave me your blog address last week, and I have been checking on you and your valiant fight, every day. I just want you to know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers every day.
This summer, Eddy and I are taking a trip to Mexico, and in my fruitless attempt to find my birth certificate and looking through every blessed piece of paper since childhood, I came across the scrapbook that I made of my travels to visit you guys when I was 12. I'll never forget, "DEEEE! Get my thongs DEEE!"? You were sooo mad at him. I (and Buffy too, I think) had such a good time!
That was such a fun time in my life, and you were all so important to me and I wanted to thank you for that.
Just wanted to let you know that all of us Rovnanik's from up here in the Bay Area are thinking of and love you.
Take care, and keep fighting. Never ever give up.
With love, Erin
Hope you are feeling better this week Bob, reading your blog over the last few months, you are a strong man...keep the faith and dont give up

I am so thankful for all of the love and support that my Dad has and is receiving...although I am not surprised by any of it. I am proud to have such a giving and sincere man as a father. It is a wonder to see all of the love that he gives and gets from so many.
